Director-at-Large
Overview
The Director-at-Large is a voting member of the Board of Directors who helps ad hoc committees, provides a perspective on BUFF and the Board of Directors and injects new ideas into the Board of Directors.
Requirements and Skills
Interested in helping to continually make BUFF valuable to membership
Ability to communicate and plan
Able to attend most Board meetings over the course of the year
Responsibilities
Learn how the Board operates and the objectives of BUFF
Help with ad hoc committees
Provide a new perspective to the Board
Inject new ideas into the Board to increase member benefits and club impact
Determine if a standing board position is a good fit for you and the club as your experience on the board grows

WebMaster
Overview
The BUFF WebMaster develops and supports the club’s web platform, software, database, and accounts
They will act as a resource and backup for the club’s Communication Director.
Requirements and Skills
Programming Languages - VBScript, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Relational Database Programming – SQL Server
Variable effort required, typically 1-2 hours/week
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance BUFF’s website (e.g. All Member Services, Fly Show, Banquet)
Oversee GoDaddy, PayPal, MailJet, and Square club accounts
Perform database backups
Develop new applications in cooperation with the BUFF Board
Join the club’s Board of Directors and attend monthly board meetings (optional)

Audio/Visual Support
Overview
This person will provide A/V support for BUFF events such as the Fly Show, monthly meetings,and training sessions, as needed.
Responsibilities
Attend all BUFF events requiring A/V support.
Deliver and set up projectors, sound equipment and cabling necessary to conduct the event.
Evaluate changing A/V needs of the club; evaluate and recommend new options.
Perform a physical inventory of the club's A/V equipment periodically.
Join the Fly Show team for A/V planning and execution.
The A/V Support may be invited to join the Board of Directors as an At-Large member.
